Viva!s Incredible Veggie Roadshow
Bristol 2004
We had a busy stall at the Viva! Veggie Roadshow event
in Bristol, October 2004.
It was an excellent day with 1000's of visitors. We
were able to speak with hundreds of people about our
work and the products we sell. It was great to meet
some of regular customers too!
Well worth the journey - in fact, we will be trying
to be at all the Viva! Veggie Roadshows from now on!
Damian was in the doggy suit again! Actually, it proved
an excellent disguise... Having stayed up all night
since the Vegan Essex show the day before he could get
a sneaky snooze!
The Incredible Veggie Roadshow continues around the
country - so check out the Viva! website to see when
they are near you: www.viva.org.uk/roadshows/
World Vegan Day Essex Event, October 2004
A great evening was had in Brentwood, lots of interesting
stalls and tasty free food to boot!
Once again we were very busy answering questions and
handing out samples. It's great to meet so many people
who haven't thought of veggie pet foods and see them
get excited when they realise it really is possible!
This year we attended the Vegan Festival at Kensington
Town Hall, London. It was great to meet so many of our
regular customers in person at last.
Damian brought the dog suit - but we were so busy he
didn't have time to get it on :-(
Here's a photo from our stall just as the Festival
opened, before we were inundated by curious passers-by.
We had all the foods on display and many people took
time out for a little nibble on the Ami vegan cat food
(some even came back later for more!)
National Vegan Festival 2003
We were there putting the word out and eating as much
lovely food as we could. (Veggies
Catering Campaign did a great job feeding the queues
of eager folk!)
Damian wore the doggy suit all day
- and it was a scorcher!!. Mingling amongst the crowd
he had fun bumping into things, being grabbed by small
kids and getting the eye from other dogs.
All in all we had a great time and
went away with bellies about to pop!
