Many small animal feeds that appear to be vegetarian can contain animal derived ingredients. Vitamins may be derived from meat productss or have been coated in gelatine before being added to the food and also animals fats may be used.

We check all of the products on VeggiePets.com thoroughly before we add them to ensure that they contain none of these ingredients and are all vegetarian and wherever possible, vegan.
