When introducing your dog to Ami, do so gradually over a period of 7 days, slowly replacing the old food with Ami.
The food may be served dry or lightly moistened with warm water.
Ensure there is always a bowl of fresh water available.
If you purchase any of the foods and they are not to your pet’s tastes, we are unable to refund you.
Just like with people, animals have their own likes and dislikes when it comes to food, and as with any consumable item you purchase at your own risk.
If you are in doubt as to whether or not your pet will find the food palatable, we suggest ordering the smallest size available of the food.
We sell samples and single units of most of the foods.
My dog Alba is a 15 months old staffie, we are a vegan couple but we have fed her meat since we rescued her. In the last few months I was feeling really bad knowing I was supporting animal cruelty to feed my own dog so I did some research and I found Ami! Wow she loves it!!!! She has never loved eating dry food still she loves this vegan brand, it took me 10 days to fully change her diet, even tho she still eat a little bit of meat from friends and family leftovers :) what I noticed tho is that her coat colour changed, seems healthier, her skin rash are gone and her ears stopped getting infected!!!! So so happy with this product!
My greyhound is 10 years old. He is very fussy and hard to feed. I adopted him when he was years old. After trying various meaty dry and moist foods and having a lot of wastage as he didn't eat very much and also had upset stomache every 3 days or so; I tried him on the samples from Veggie pets. He really liked some of them and not others. He liked the Benevo and Ami dry and moist foods. However, the Benevo dry food gave him lots of gas (probably the soya) so I have bought the Ami dry food for him regularly now and he likes it. As he is very fussy still; I sometimes put leftover cooked veg in with it or chop up a veggie sausage and mix it in. Sometimes he has it soaked with warm water and other times he prefers it dry. I am very pleased with the Ami dry dog food.
Tess is the fussiest little staffy going, but she loves this stuff.
Our Jack never tires of this. We often give it to him as it is, sometimes we mix in some canned food or other vegetables etc It stores well. Just open the bag a little way at the top. Seal by folding the top down several times, pushing the air out, and fasten with eg a Bulldog clip. It keeps really well once opened like this and stored in a cool, dry place. Usually comes with a good long date on it as well Highly recommended
Really impressed with this food! My rescue dog had skin and digestive problems when I got her. I was initially sceptical about feeding a completely vegan diet however her skin and digestive system improved so dramatically as soon as I switched that it would be silly to add the meat back into her diet. She really seems to like the taste too!
My Labrador Jon Jon is eating this food for 10 years now. It's by far the best food.
Excellent food: we use both wet and dry food by Ami. We buy all the four flavours of the wet type and our dog is very keen on it. He has eaten Ami for several years (he is now 11) and he has always been well. Very light to the stomach. Once he ate something horrible in the park and became very ill. The vet told us to give the conventional light food for a few days: we did but it turned out to be more difficult to digest that his normal, Ami food. When last year he had a small operation the vet told us to continue with Ami because it was better than the light conventional food he sold. We also give a handful of Ami dry food every day to complement and complete his meal together with a tablespoon of Alpro yogurt. We also give the dry food as a little snack: he likes it very much.
Our 18m old collie x GSD didn’t like the first vegan food we tried her with (Benevo), we swapped to Ami as a trial and she loves it! Will be keeping her on this, and it’s helped her skin and itch levels too.
