Delivery Information
Delivery Pricing for the UK
Novemeber 2024 - PLEASE NOTE: Our shipping options have recently been updated.
You will be shown your delivery price in the basket before checkout after you enter your postcode.
Please note - transit times are based on working days from dispatch not the day that you order.
We cannot always dispatch the same day, especially if ordering at weekends or during public holidays.
We deliver all over the United Kingdom via DPD, Evri and Royal Mail. The final price depends on the total weight and destination.
When you are ready to checkout, you will be asked for your postcode which is checked and then allows our shop to show you what delivery options are available for your order. You can then choose the best value or fastest delivery depending on your requirements.
ROYAL MAIL packages up to 400g are £2.99 for all UK addresses.
EVRI parcels can be up to 14kg* each and start from £3.95 for their standard 2-4 working day service (UK Mainland).
DPD parcels can be up 28.5kg* starting at £7.95 for their express 1-2 working day service (UK Mainland).
Please note that delivery does cost more to postcodes in the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Man. The available prices will be displayed when you checkout.
To assist you in estimating how much to put in your order, the total gross weight is displayed in your basket.
* This is total net weight of goods, which allows for necessary packaging.
Click & Collect
We apologise but from November 2024 this service will no longer be available.
VAT is included on all delivery prices
The delivery prices shown above include VAT. While VAT does not apply to Royal Mail services if you use them personally, online stores are required by UK Law (HMRC VAT Notice 700/24) to charge VAT on top of the cost of Royal Mail's own prices. We don't like it either, sorry!
BREXIT Information
Unfortunately, due to changes caused by BREXIT, we are no longer able to send parcels to Europe due to the additional paperwork and high risks of parcels being refused at this time. If we can safely send parcels again in future we will - although unfortunately, the delivery costs are likely to be considerably higher.
Free Delivery
Unfortunately, there are no free delivery services. When companies offer 'free delivery' they are hiding the delivery cost inside the cost of the products - which can result in paying more! For example, if we priced delivery into a 10kg bag of dog food, those customers who wished to buy 2 bags, would end up paying 2 delivery charges, which we don't think is fair or transparent. By showing you the products and the delivery separately, you can choose what is most efficient for you and only pay the postage you really need to. We do not make money on delivery charges, so we think this is the fairest approach and offers the best value to customers.
