All of our dogs love this food, it's a great option as it is easily customisable. We have a big chow chow and a mastiff mix, and even our toy breed dog likes this food. We soak it in hot water, and I add different items morning and night to give them a different meal each time, dog friendly peanut butter, coconut oil, turmeric and spirulina are some of our dogs favourite flavours and they all get excited at meal times, even our mastiff mix who is not very food motivated at all. He also had issues with his digestion as a puppy but on this food and with the occasional sweet potato or pumpkin added he has no issues at all now.
Maxine PalmerOur dogs love this food dry. They love the variety of pieces and since they have been on this food, their coats are so soft and dry skin patches have virtually gone. My dogs have been on this food for around 4 years and for the first year I gave them a choice. Because they are nibblers, their food is always down for them to munch on when they want, so in their first year, they had a bowl of vegan flakes or nuggets, and a bowl of standard non vegan dog food. By the end of the year I was giving the non-vegan food away so they chose to become vegan. Both myself and husband are vegan/vegetarian but didn't want to force our dogs into this decision. Didn't have to as they chose for themselves. They love this food and its good for them, hence the extremely soft fur and bright eyes.
Jeffrey MarshallFantastic dry vegan food that my Chow loves mixed with probiotics and warm water.
F LThis feed has really helped transform my 7 year old cocker spaniel's health and weight. Through medications and various trials she'd become a rolypoly pudding, rippling with rolls of fat. After years of medications she wouldn't drink anything but milk, on V-dog she's now happy to drink water, she's lost three kilos in weight, she's more energetic and her bowels, which had always been problematic, are far healthier and stable. People can't believe she's not a puppy. She'd been on the barf diet for years before this, green tripe and vegetables etc. Four months of V-dog have wrought serious improvements to her health. We fed her slightly less than is recommended for her weight. Highly recommend by one former fat but now very slinky spaniel.
D PMy 13 year old springer spaniel enjoys this food, but unfortunately it makes her poops very loose and sloppy. It doesn't seem to be upsetting her stomach or affecting her negatively in any way, but obviously cleaning up after her has become much more unpleasant (especially when out and about). Perhaps just a problem for older dogs/springer spaniels, or just my dog in particular.
Beth LI have been feeding my two dogs (lurcher 11yrs and a chihuahua 5 yrs) this food for at least 4 years and they love it! They are both fine and well and feeding them a vegan diet has had no long term detrimental impact on their health. They sometimes find it a little dry so we mix it with passata, peanut butter or olive oil. This particular brand is their favourite out of all the vegan complete dog foods available.

Our dogs love this for breakfast made as suggested with warm water and left to cool, only negative is they often lick the smaller flakes so they are stuck to the bowl then bark for me to get a spoon to feed them the rest lol. It’s a firm favourite in our house and easy to take on holiday too. We mix this up with vegan dog treats and they have a home cooked vegan meal in the evening. Anyone unsure about switching your dog to a plant based diet, two of ours had repeated anal gland issues…. Until we changed their diet!
